Product Review (submitted on September 27, 2013):
I tried to look for reviews for this product before I bought it but I couldn't find any.. So I felt compelled to write one.
Ok- first let me say that I was really excited to try this foundation- I love the light diffusing foundations (usually use Guerlain or Chanel) and I mix them with a full coverage foundation which yields a medium/ full coverage with a nice glow. The finish of this product is nice but I definitely don't think it's worth $54. It's EXTREMELY watery... like if you try to squeeze a pump onto the tips of your fingers to apply it, it'll just run through your fingers and all over the place. Even squeezing a pump on to the back of your hand and using a foundation brush to apply is a watery mess... seriously disappointing. In addition to the difficulty in applying, it's not moisturizing at all and does not apply to the skin easily. When I use even drug store brands (I use Revlon Color Stay as the full coverage foundation I mix with) they seem to apply to the skin better than this much higher priced foundation. When I think of "Luxe" I'm thinking a creamy, dewy, light diffusing foundation that blends into the skin easily and comfortably- but this is definitely not the case. I'll pay 5 more dollars and stick to the real luxury brands.
