Our events include workshops and industry tradeshows for our professional skincare customers. Descriptions of the 2013 professional workshops can be found below.

 

glō· minerals Boot Camp

Time: 10am-5pm; Cost: $100; Attendee limit: 48

Lunch will be served.

This workshop is for accounts that want to achieve a better understanding of the glō∙minerals line.  Attendees will learn the glō∙minerals line and its benefits through a power point presentation and demonstrations.  Face contouring and camouflage will be taught including how to cover port wine stains, melasma, rosacea, etc.  Also included will be tattoo and acne coverage.  Day to night looks will be shown and there will be time for a hands-on experience with the glō∙minerals line. 

 

glō· minerals Advanced Application

Time: 10am-5pm; Cost: $100; Attendee limit: 48

Lunch will be served.

glō for the Pro! This workshop is for accounts that have a basic understanding of the glō·minerals line and are interested in expanding their glō artistry skills. This will focus on bridal techniques and application.  Attendees will learn the techniques of how to create photo ready looks, natural day looks, glam day looks, natural night looks, glam night looks, mother of the bride looks, etc. 

There will be a powerpoint presentation, demonstrations, and time for hands-on experience with the glō∙minerals line.

 

glō· therapeutics Product Knowledge & Selling

Time: 10am-4:30pm; Cost: $100; Attendee limit: 60

Lunch will be served.

Attendees will learn about the active ingredients and cutting edge formulations that make up the glō·therapeutics line! This workshop will be divided into sections by skin type and concern (ie oily skin, menopausal skin, etc). All issues that occur with each will be discussed along with the physiological causes.  The educator will also discuss at home regimens as well as professional treatments which are appropriate.  Attendees will be shown a power point presentation and the educator will review skin histology to explain what happens to skin as it ages and develops problems such as hyperpigmentation, acne, rosacea, etc. The educator will also share what it is that customers really want to know about products along with pointers on how to deal with different customer types and overcoming common objections.  Attendees will leave with a higher level of training on products to successfully perform treatments and promote the glō·therapteutics line.

There will be no demonstrations or hands-on.

 

glō· therapeutics Chemical Exfoliation   

Time: 10am-4:30pm; Cost: $150; Attendee limit: 30

Lunch will be served.

This interactive workshop will include an in-depth review of all the glō·therapeutics exfoliants (excluding advanced line exfoliants).  Detailed explanations will be given about ingredients in these products and what makes them unique and efficacious.  New exfoliation protocols and demonstrations will be shared.  The educator will provide information on the application, timing and suitability of each exfoliant.  The educator will also perform demonstrations on participants and attendees will participate in exercises on how to create customized treatment and retail protocols.
